2005 Volunteer of the Year Awards Presented

Valley United Way held it's 14th Annual Volunteer Recognition Awards on Wednesday, May 5 at the Kellogg Environmental Center in Derby. Awards were presented in 10 different group and individual categories recognizing a variety of volunteers for their work in the community during the past year. The theme of this year's presentation was "Inspire by Example".The volunteers were nominated by the community, and the Volunteer Action Center Advisory Committee had the difficult task of selecting the winners from all those nominated. This year's winners were:
