Perkin Elmer has won the Corporate Cup Orienteering Event for the second straight year. David Scott, who was on the winning team last year, paired with Bob VanEgghen to complete the tricky course at the Ansonia Nature Center in 55 minutes and 20 seconds. That was 2 minutes and 11 seconds faster than CDW-G's team of Thaddeus Kurkowsi and Shannon Hilva. They were the only teams to break the hour barrier on the trail.

On a perfect night weather-wise, Rich Knoll and Jamie Fields gave TEAM, Inc. the third place finish in 65 minutes and 19 seconds almost four minutes ahead of David Kimball and Sandy Lamprey who made up BIC's "Maxwell Smart & Agent 99" team. Kimball and Lamprey earned bragging rights back at BIC headquarters as BIC's "Corporation Lost" team of Tim Wells and Bonnie Jones were less than two minutes behind in fifth place.

Nineteen teams competed in this year's event.
